Making An Appointment – Over The Phone

Kate will be attending the Christening of her best friend’s baby on the 5th of October. As one of her preparations, she decided to make an appointment with ABC Nail and Spa.

Receptionist: Hello good morning this is Mika of ABC Nail and Spa, how may I help you?
Kate: Hi Mika, good morning. Can I make a mani-pedi appointment for tomorrow, please?
Receptionist: I see. Kindly hold for a minute and I will check if there are still available slots for tomorrow.
Kate: Yes, sure.
Receptionist: Thank you for waiting. Our earliest for tomorrow will be at 10:30 in the morning. Will it be in your favor?
Kate: I’ll grab it.
Receptionist: May I have your full name, phone number, time and date of appointment, and any particular name of staff to request?
Kate: Kate Smith, 0917 1234 567, 10:30 am October 2, 2020, and please if Jace will be there tomorrow I want her to do my service.
Receptionist: Thank you for the information, Ms. Kate. Yes, Jace will be here tomorrow.
Kate: Cool. Thanks!
Receptionist: All right, do you have any more questions or additional service, Ms. Kate?
Kate: Uhm. Actually, I’d like to ask for your spa service? Would you tell me more about it?
Receptionist: Sure Ms. Kate. We do have two choices for foot spa – the Basics and the Royale. For the Basics, we will be using Himalayan Sea Salt and our own organic cream and oil; it is a 30-minute massage. And for the Royale; there will be two choices for scrub- Moroccan Coffee or the Green Tea for detox. Same products for the final touch; our organic cream and oil but the Royale will be an hour of relaxation.
Kate: I think I need some Royale Spa as well, please reserve it too.
Receptionist: This is noted, thank you, Ms. Kate. We will see you tomorrow at 10:30 am for your manipedi service and Royal Spa. Have a great day!
Kate: Cool. Thank you, see you guys tomorrow!

I am Geryka Joyce Racho and most people call me Gea. A 23-year-old girl living in the Philippines, was born and spent her childhood days in the countryside of Pangasinan then decided to move to city life when I entered college up until now that I am officially employed. That became my foundation of independence and ability to withstand whatever life brings me to. During my first year of employment, I followed my childhood dream to be part of the aviation industry then, fortunately, when the opportunity came, I grabbed the chance to work in a Travel Agency as one of its travel consultants. Writing has been my way to relieve stress, I write whatever and wherever I am. I could still remember that amidst traffic, to make my sanity not go to waste, I decided to write the situation right in front of me. Though I do not have any yet professional experience when it comes to writing, I could say I can still count on my writings.
